Stow stay stow stay: 9

Anna Jackson

Walking home from work
I pass poetry graffitied

on Ghuznee street
like a plastic bag

held down for a second
by the tyre of a car

then breaking free
and rising,

riding the wind
up Ohiro road,

stowing only
in its white walls

a motion
emotion
a motion
emotion

out of the corner
of my eye.
